符碼

符碼是由符碼本身、符碼組成方式與符碼出現的脈絡所構成。

1. Simple example: inflection, which Khmer does not have. I've studied English and Spanish and the lack of inflection was confusing until I learned what inflection is. 2. Learning about Khmer reduplication (in script), the concept of zero copula, and the IPA has completely obliterated my concept of language into an enormous universe of possibility.3. Having studied computer science, cognitive science––and now studying linguistics––I have a sense of how things are "understood" at a fundamental level and this allows me to understand certain constructs that were previously unnoticed by me.
